The Bulldogs took control from the opening tip, starting the game on a 25-7 run. Gray tallied 10 points during the stretch, which Demetri Goodson capped with a pair of free throws with less than 14 minutes left. Bouldin's jumper and Will Foster's layup before the half had Gonzaga in front 40-19 at the break. The decision was never in doubt for the Bulldogs in the second half. There is some real talent amassing on this team offensively, as the combination of QB Matt Stafford, RB Jahvid Best, WR Calvin Johnson, and TE Brandon Pettigrew should put a bunch of points on the board if the offensive line can even remotely hold up. The questions really lie on defense, where it feels like DT Ndamukong Suh is going to be trying to stop opposing teams all by himself. This year should show some marked improvement in the Motor City.
